"We'll wait and see what happens with Fabio in the 23 player squad for the final," said the player who defends the Three Lions since 2000 this past.
That way, if Gerrard has a strong belief that City winger will be a plane with 22 other British players to South Africa. Gerrard believes Johnson's talents would take him to the world stage. "I believe that Adam had a fantastic opportunity to go to the World Cup because he is a very talented player," Gerrard said.
Meanwhile, Gerrard has also put a sense of sympathy on the fate of Chelsea star, Michael Ballack, who will not take part in world soccer tournament this summer.
